This luxury eyewear brand had good systems that did not talk to each other. The online store, inventory, finance and marketing each told a different story. We brought all four together, so leadership runs the business on numbers that finally agree.

The challenge

The brand had good tools that did not talk to each other. The online store, inventory, finance and marketing each sat in its own system. Leadership had nowhere to see how the business was really doing, and reports were pieced together by hand, so the same number often came out differently depending on which system it came from.

What we built

  • Brought the online store, inventory, finance and marketing data into one place, so the business no longer depends on whichever system someone happens to open.
  • Built the logic that makes the numbers agree, reconciling sales, stock and finance so a figure means the same thing everywhere, which ended the constant arguments over which report was right.
  • Delivered one live view for leadership that replaced the reports staff used to build by hand, which took time to put together and were already out of date by the time they were done.
