A European manufacturing-simulation software vendor (2,400+ enterprise customers, name withheld under NDA) sent 15 people to a co-branded, anti-hype workshop. A month later they picked one process and started building.
- The problem: engineers re-keyed material and part parameters from technical PDFs into their models, slow and error-prone across 2,400+ accounts.
- What we built: an AI document pipeline with OCR, LLM extraction into their schema, human-in-the-loop validation and an eval harness. A shipped system, not a demo.
- The result: about 70% less manual entry and over 95% extraction accuracy on the targeted document types, with onboarding cut from weeks to days.
