Real Estate

How a listed real-estate developer got 83 agreed KPIs into one governed executive report

A listed real-estate developer needed one agreed performance view for its leadership. Its data sat across enterprise systems and spreadsheets and did not consistently reconcile. We built a governed lakehouse, a shared KPI model and executive reporting on top, using our AI Factory delivery method.

Challenge

Give leadership one agreed performance view across its enterprise systems and spreadsheets.

What we built

A governed lakehouse, a shared KPI model and executive reporting on agreed definitions.

Result

One governed CEO scorecard, built on KPI definitions agreed with the owning departments.

The challenge

Leadership needed one agreed performance view across enterprise systems and spreadsheets. Financial, commercial and people data did not consistently reconcile. The ERP held the financial picture but was not integrated into the analytics platform, and the client lacked in-house ERP expertise. The scope covered 97 KPIs across eight business dimensions.

What we built

  • Connected the ERP, CRM, HR and subsidiary systems in a governed lakehouse, with 14 ERP objects ingested read-only. Entry apps with validation, approvals and an audit trail capture figures at source, and a spreadsheet intake reports rejected data.
  • Implemented 83 of 97 scoped KPIs in a shared KPI model, with definitions agreed line by line with the owning departments. Reporting runs from a CEO scorecard to headline KPIs and business-dimension views, with a mobile layout for the scorecard.
  • Used the AI Factory delivery method to generate model scaffolds, transformations and ingestion boilerplate from the agreed definitions. Work began in week 1 on contract-generated sample data, which real data later replaced without changes to measures or visuals.

The outcome

Leadership has one governed CEO scorecard, built on KPI definitions agreed with the owning departments. People review financial figures from the ERP before reporting. Against a conventional fixed-price proposal of about 997 hours and $75,000, the AI Factory projection is about 575 hours and $43,000, over 40% lower.
